Climate change has been a serious matter faced by every country in the world today. Despite the advancement in technology, rainforest remained a victim of denudation, illegal logging and illegal mining that cause major disruption in the environment which causes unusual weather patterns.
Even in areas which were not frequently visited by storms, there are still some evidence of extreme weather conditions such as heavy rains, drought, and unexplainable weather.
In relation to this phenomenon, dermatological society task force on climate change has been created to provide assistance to most dermatological disorders which are influenced by high sensitivity to climate as well as ecologic changes.
Scientists have yet to contribute major information when it comes to observations, analysis of the climate situation, and even find some answers as to how climate change directly affects dermatologic conditions, thus formulating future projections, link causes and effects and getting a place closer to the solution.
The task force on climate change aims to find help for dermatological disorders, as well as establishment and promotion of meetings.
Dermatological societies want to increase the awareness and understanding with regards to the impact of global warming and how it affects disease and health patterns, as this information may not so vivid to majority. The insights that will be created will provide a guide to dermatologists with regards to the changes in dermatologic patterns and in order to propagate this they have started out an open dialogue in order to be able to keep track of the changes in the climate change aspect. This will also tackle skin disease in relation to the medical, scientific as well as political communities.
